Darryl Richardson initiated Whirlwind Gardens in 2005, equipped with a City and Guilds qualification in garden design from Lifestyle College. Notably, he contributed to the creation of the grasses garden showcased at the Lifestyle Garden Center’s 2007 show gardens. Additionally, he holds the Landscape Irrigation Association of South Africa’s certification in residential and commercial irrigation design.
Natalia Richardson joined Whirlwind Gardens in 2010 after six years in the Green Industry. Her expertise in garden design, validated by a City and Guilds qualification, significantly contributes to the team’s endeavors. She was also involved in the design and construction of the grasses garden featured at the 2007 Lifestyle Center show gardens.
In 2014, Darryl and Natalia combined their talents to establish Richardson Landscaping & Design, offering comprehensive landscaping solutions to their clients.
